Important

The tool will only work properly if the Microsoft Excel security level is set to "Medium" or "Low." Please check this before you continue, by opening Microsoft Excel and selecting "Tools --> Options" and going to the "Security" tab. Click the "Macro Security..." button, which can be found in the bottom right hand corner. Then select either a Medium or the Low security level and then click "Okay."

In order to download the Green Power Analysis Tool you must agree to the following:

AGREEMENT

By installing the Green Power Analysis Tool (the Product), you agree to be bound by all of the terms and conditions stated in this Agreement. If you do not wish to be bound by this Agreement, you must not install or otherwise access the Product.

License

This Agreement allows you to use the Product. World Resources Institute (WRI) grants to you a nonexclusive, nontransferable, royalty-free license permitting you to download and install the Product solely for your personal use. The rights granted to you by WRI shall not be assigned, sublicensed or otherwise conveyed or transferred by you to any other person, organization or entity. Any rights not expressly granted to you herein by WRI are reserved. You shall not sell, rent, transfer, resell, distribute, duplicate, reproduce, copy, license or modify, or create derivative works based upon, the Product or any part thereof.

The foregoing license gives you limited rights to use the Product. You do not become the owner of the Product. As between you and WRI, WRI retains all title to the Product and all copies thereof. You acknowledge and agree that WRI holds all rights to, title to and interest in all tangible and intangible incidents of the Product, including all patents, copyrights and trade secrets pertaining thereto, and that this Agreement conveys to you only a limited right to access and use the Product. You acknowledge that the Product, including, without limitation, all code therein, contains proprietary and confidential information, are owned by WRI, and are protected by applicable intellectual property and other laws. You shall not infringe or violate any such rights or laws.

Warranty Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

While the Green Power Analysis Tool is believed to contain correct information, this spreadsheet is supplied "as is" without warrant of any kind. Licensor does not warrant that the functions contained in the software will meet your requirements or that the operation of the software will be uninterrupted or error free. WRI disclaims any warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title or non-infringement. WRI does not assume any legal liability or responsibility for the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of the spreadsheet.

In no event will WRI be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages of any kind or nature, including but not limited to, loss of profits or loss of data, for any reason whatsoever, whether such liability is asserted on the basis of contract, tort (including negligence or strict liability), or otherwise, even if WRI has been warned of the possibility of such loss or damages. In any event, WRI's cumulative liability to you or any other third party for any loss or damages resulting from any claims, demands, or actions arising out of or relating to this agreement shall not exceed the license fee paid by you to WRI for the license and use of this software.
